How is corporate social responsibility defined?

Corporate Social Responsibility is a management concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and interactions with their stakeholders.

How many definitions of CSR are there?

(Dahlsrud, 2008) analyzed 37 definitions used by researchers on CSR and concluded that they are based on five dimensions; environmental; social, economic, stakeholder and charity dimension.

What is CSR definition PDF?

Corporate Social Responsibility is a process that is concerned with treating the stakeholders. of a company or institution ethically or in a responsible manner. ' Ethically or responsible' means. treating key stakeholders in a manner deemed acceptable according to international norms.

How did Bowen define CSR?

By social responsibility of businessmen, Bowen meant “the obligations of businessmen to pursue those policies, to make those decisions, or to follow those lines of action that are desirable in terms of the objectives and values of our society.”
