Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town's marriage candidates are all common archetypes and their gifts are typically easy to figure out.
Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town features an array of unique bachelors and bachelorettes, each with their own likes and dislikes that the player must discover if they want to get married. Unlike past games in the series like in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town where the players can marry the Harvest Goddess, Pioneers of Olive Town doesn't have any secret marriage candidates with special requirements. It does, however, allow for same-sex relationships, which can't be said for its competitor, Harvest Moon: One World. Altogether, there are 10 marriage candidates—5 men and 5 women—in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town. And luckily, romancing in the game is fairly easy and marriage can take place in the first year. Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town BachelorettesThe five women available for marriage in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town are Blaire, Bridget, Laura, Linh, and Reina. Laura works as a Tourist Guide and might be one of the first women the player comes across. Her favorite gifts include Olives, Tuna, and Bouquet Perfume, but Sunflowers are an easy gift for her found on the farm. Blaire is perky and dreams of being a star someday. She favors Diamonds but also enjoys Salad, Tea, and most gems. Players will often see Bridget working at the animal shop where they can purchase dogs, cats, and farm animals. She's one of the easiest NPCs to gift in Pioneers of Olive Town as she enjoys milk. Linh works at the flower shop with her grandfather Nguyen and loves Mangoes and mango products, and like Tulips, Sunflowers, and Roses, which can often be found on the farm. Finally, Reina has been stealing fans' attention but might be the most complicated candidate in terms of gifts. Her easiest gifts are Cherries, Almonds, Rubies, and Floral Perfumes, but she loves Lemons, Bouquet Perfumes, and Lockets.
Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town BachelorsAs for the bachelors in Pioneers of Olive Town, Jack is the older brother of the child Cindy and lives at the General Store. His likes include Coffee and Pumpkin and he loves Ramen and the Large Bear Carving. Ralph works as a ranger for Olive Town and loves Yellow Potage, which is easy to make in the kitchen, as well as Bread. Iori lives in the Japanese-style home on the northern end of Olive Town with Dosetsu. He enjoys Rice and Grilled Fish but loves Matsutake, Shiitake Mushrooms, Soy Sauce, and Rice Balls. Emilio is this farming sim's fisherman NPC and likewise loves lots of gifts related to fish products. He likes Grilled Fish and Shellfish Soup, which are both easy to make in the kitchen, but loves Watermelon. Finally, Damon is Bridget's younger brother and has a cold exterior but perks up when gifted Coffee and most raw or refined gems like Ruby, Opal, or Red Beryl.
