The U.S.-made SUV increased pricing across all trims, starting with the base LX. It has jumped from $33,390 to $35,690. The top SX-Prestige package starts at $50,390. But the top EX, SX, and Prestige models now have two more trim options: X-Line AWD and X-Pro AWD. The top-of-the-line X-Pro on the Prestige comes out to $52,785—not including destination fees. The mid-tier EX with the X-Line trim is $45,458. The Telluride is often compared to the Hyundai Palisade, which starts higher. The Pro trims offer all-wheel drive and better light off-road capability. The interior at this level is refreshed with a redesigned dash and center console with dual 12.3-inch panoramic screens with mapping. The trim level includes a standard Wi-Fi hotspot and advanced-driving assistance on the highway. The 2023 Telluride comes equipped with the same 3.8-liter V-6 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission as previous models and continues to offer 291 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. The naturally aspirated engine should offer roughly the same fuel economy as the 2022 Kia Telluride. This means that the standard FWD model would offer 20/26 MPG in the city and on the highway, respectively, while the optional AWD model would deliver 19/24 MPG. This means that the Telluride competes with similar V-6-powered SUVs in its class. As with previous models, the 2023 Telluride offers four drive modes, including Smart, Eco, Sport, and Comfort. With AWD, you’ll have Snow and AWD Lock drive modes to help you to tackle the winter weather. The Telluride calibrates the ride height automatically for optimal control in any conditions. It features an independent suspension to deliver a smooth feeling.
