Blurred or double vision.. difficulty in walking.. drooping eyelids.. headache.. jaw pain.. numbness or tingling in fingers and toes.. pain in fingers and toes.. pain in testicles.. What is the most common side effect of vincristine?Symptoms can include a rash, shortness of breath, redness or swelling of the face, feeling hot, dizziness, and a sudden need to pass urine. Tell your doctor or nurse immediately if you have any of these symptoms or feel unwell at all while you are having the treatment or shortly afterwards.
What should I monitor with vincristine?Monitoring of laboratory values, including serum electrolytes such as serum sodium and serum uric acid, hepatic function, and a complete blood count with differential is required, as is monitoring for the signs and symptoms of peripheral neuropathy.
Which adverse effect should be reported to the healthcare provider for a patient receiving vincristine?Decreased sensation, numbness and tingling in fingers and toes may become progressively worse with repeated doses of Vincristine. It is important to report this to your doctor.
