2023 RMZ 450 rumors

A lot of people want to see Suzuki change, but I highly doubt they will. The advantage to them not changing/selling as well, is when it’s non Covid, you can pick up a brand new 450 for really cheap, as long as you don’t mind kickstarting. They’re capable enough that they won’t hold anyone who isn’t paid to race back. More than good enough for c and b class racing, or people who just ride mx for fun. Although if I’m kickstarting and buying a cheap new bike, it would be a a yz250. Much lighter.

Presented by O’Neal

New bike season is slowly coming to an end, but not before we took delivery of the 2023 Suzuki RM-Z 250 & RM-Z 450. Although the bikes come into the new year completely unchanged, again, we agree that the industry is better as a whole with Suzuki involved. That said, SML test riders Kyle Vara, Rene Garcia, and Gary Sutherlin spent a day at Glen Helen Raceway on the yellow machines and did their best to get them dialed in stock trim. Press play to hear our test riders honest opinions of the Suzuki’s!

That is what the plan is. So i was told. From what he said production models have not started rolling yet that he knew of. It's highly unlikely they will rerun the 2020's as 21's being this late with everyone else already showing their hands but is still a very slim slim chance. They are looking to do a late production kinda similar to the ktm fe time lines. 250 is gonna be 2022 most likely, although he was told they are set to go down the line if they want and if they do a late production run could be 21's. He doesn't seem to believe that the 250 is really finished though and ready to hit production. He's right enough that I could say stamp it. But he has been wrong once or twice that i can think of.

Haven’t had a bike since my 93 cr250 and that was in 95...lol. However I’m considering a rmz450 as they are sexy as hell. I see Suzuki bashing is still alive and well. Oh well I certainly don’t need the fastest one anyway.

Dude, it'll knock your socks off. Ignore the outrageous critiques. I've owned many brands of 250s and 450s and it is mt favorite bike I've ever ridden. And so sexy looking.

No way does it say "RM'Z" (White and red) on the lower shroud, and also on the upper. Fail..

Thats what I was thinking also no "Suzuki" or S other than on seat ????? Also maybe a coincidence but I look at details if you look at the wheel and sprocket placement in pict it is the same as in 2020. 2018 and 2019 are both diff. so im thinking a photo shop.

But counter to Steve125's assertion, the 50 does have the "DR-Z" twice on shroud.

If it is a 2021, don't we all have to have color matched side and front plates though?

In this case it would really benefit Suzuki. Having 4 different colors of plastic is idiotic.

This thread needs to be turned into a specific RMZ 250.450 forum so we can really get serious into dicussion.

The picture looks exactly the same as the 2020 with a small BNG. That leads on to beleive its the same bike for 2021.

Feels as nimble as my ktm but more stable and predictable.

Well, that would have been a nice plan but it looks like the “slim” chance that they do BNG won out.

2023 RMZ 450 rumors

Will Suzuki update the rmz450?

Suzuki didn't make any changes to the 2023 RM-Z450 from the 2022 version. The current 2022 RM-Z450 package was first introduce in 2018, received a minor shock spring update in 2019 (from a 56 N/mm spring to a 54 N/mm spring) and was untouched 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Is Suzuki coming out with a new dirt bike?

Limited-time RM-Z promotion and new dual sport colorways. New 2023 motorcycles continue to roll in as Suzuki has released its motocross, off-road, and dual sport lineup.

Will Suzuki stop making dirt bikes?

In it, Kerry Graeber, Vice President and Division Manager of MC/ATV Sales and Marketing, states that Suzuki will still continue to produce motorcycle and ATV products and will continue with its racing programs in MotoAmerica, AMA Supercross/Motocross, and NHRA Pro Stock Drag Racing.

How much horsepower does a 2022 RMZ 450 have?

As expected, the unchanged model made similar figures to what it did last year with 50.3 hp at 8,500 rpm and 32.9 pound-feet of torque at 7,400 rpm. Although the Suzuki makes the least peak horsepower in the 450 motocross bike segment, it still has more than enough power for the vast majority of riders.
