According to me Makina’s route would get about 6/10. It is good but not one of the best. The route starts after Makina asks Yuuji to become his father and the latter accepts her offer. At first Makina was scared of Yuuji, but due to Yuuji’s efforts she was able to open up and even fall in love with him. Makina’s route is of a darker nature as we see the dark part of Yuuji’s personality. This route is basically rotates around Makina’s family, various company politics and reveals a lot of things about Yuuji’s past and who he actually is. Not much to say about this route as it is basically action based and focuses how Yuuji tries to close the gaping hole in Makina’s heart who was abandoned by her mother and dead father. In the end Yuuji is indeed successful in severing Makina’s connection with her mother and her company who tried to use Makina as a tool. Show Parts I found interesting The part about Yuuji’s past,of how his master Asako told him that he had a demon sealed inside his hand was quite interesting and we get to know about Yuuji’s identity as 9029, the faithful government dog having a leash around his neck. Yuuji and Asako’s relation was the part which I found the most interesting in this route. Other than that and a few other Makina moments this route was similar to many other action based visual novel.As I said earlier it was good but not the best. Suou Amane  The mature Onne-san character, Suou Amane. I would give Amane’s route 8/10. I have heard many people saying that Amane’s route was the best especially “The Angelic Howl” part. But Amane’s route is not the best in my opinion. But nonetheless her route is quite good and has well written plot. Unfortunately Yuuji’s sister, Kazuki steals the spotlight from Amane in this chapter.The route starts when Amane jokingly told Yuuji to kiss her and he actually did so which led to Amane becoming his girlfriend. This route is about how Amane and her friends survives a bus crash and is stuck in a place surrounded with forest with no sources of communication and how they have to survive in that hell. Kazuki was a genius who helped Amane in surviving and helped her get out of the place. This made Amane guilty as she thought Kazuki had sacrificed herself to save her. After meeting Yuuji, Amane decided to take care of him as she thought that it was her responsibility as she was the reason of Kazuki’s death. Thus,she pestered Yuuji to let her become his girlfriend. The route mainly focuses in Amane’s past and Yuuji’s sister. After Amane tells Yuuji everything a little event occurs with them as someone tries to kill Amane, but Yuuji saves her and frees her from guilt. Parts I found interesting Kazami Kazuki. Yes, she was the most interesting part of the route. This brocon sister was the only reason for this route to be so good. The plot setting was definitely interesting but not as interesting as Kazuki. Everything about Kazuki interested me and even at the end of the route there are lingering questions which deepens the suspence. ” Is Kazuki alive and if she is where is she?” “Will Yuuji be able to meet her in future?” and so on……. Amane’s route was definitely good and I enjoyed it a lot. Matsushima Michiru The self proclaimed tsundere, Matsushima Michiru. 9/10. I liked Michiru’s route the best. I loved everything about Michiru her cuteness, her playing the role of joker and even her alter personality. The route starts after Michiru’s alter personality kissed Yuuji. Michiru’s past was quite sad and painful. Her parents expected too much from her, but she being an idiot was unable to keep up. This made her a target for her private teachers as they mentally blackmailed her because her father insulted them because of Michiru’s incompetence. Her one and only school friend also committed suicide. This mentally broke her down. After her heart transplant an alternate personality due to “cellular memory” was imprinted inside Michiru. To make others value her, Michiru decided to play the role of the clown. But there was no one who could wipe the tears of that clown until Yuuji came. Michiru wanted to die and let her alter personality to take over her as she was more competent. So Yuuji made her wish come true. He buried her alive to make her realize that she was wasting her life pondering about unnecessary things. After Yuuji saved Michiru he even helped her alter personality by granting her wish. Parts I found interesting I did not expect much of this route, but I was actually surprised after completing it. No doubt about it, I loved this route the most. What could I not love about our cute self proclaimed tsundere. I loved the part of the “first base” or Seppun(kiss) and Michiru’s reaction after that. Her pureness caught me off guard and tugged my heartstrings. The whole burying of Michiru alive and announcing that she was dead was one of the best and absurd way of curing someone’s mental state. Hats off Kazami Yuuji, I respect you more than any other story protagonist. Michiru’s route was the most interesting and I loved it the most. Komine Sachi The obidient maid, Komine Sachi. Sachis route deserves 7/10. Decent plot and good character development. Sachi’s route starts after Yuuji pats her head. After her father dies in a traffic accident and her mother goes into vegetative state Sachi decided to become an obedient girl and do everything that another person says. She became so obedient that due to some girls’ request to stop a test she sets her school on fire so that the test gets cancelled. After Yuuji cured her of this problem by various means, her PTSD came into play. In the end Sachi is cured due to Yuuji’s efforts, after she realizes that her parents did not blame her for their accident and they loved her dearly. The only thing which is confusing is the last choice in this route, where a choice of either killing her mother or not comes. Usually we would think killing her would be the bad ending, but actually it was the opposite. Parts I found intersting Sachi’s backstory was quite interesting. We also come to know about Yuuji’s childhood as he played with Sachi. Again Yuuji used one of his absurd techniques of blowing up the school to cure Sachi’s mental ilness. Other than these I cannot find anything noteworthy about this route. But overall it was quite good. Sakaki Yumiko The one and only kuudere, Sakaki Yumiko. 8/10. One of the better routes in the vn. Although the story was nothing new as it was about how Yumiko’s father wanted a boy to inherit his company, but Yumiko was a girl leading to mistreatment of her mother, appearance of mistress, illegitimate child and blah blah blah…….. But Yumiko and Yuuji’s romance made every other thing fade in comparison. If none of the heroines’ flag are triggered, Yumiko becomes the default choice in the vn. This is the only route where the heroine ie. Yumiko changes Yuuji from being an emotionless government dog to an actual human with emotions. As I said the story was not so new, so I do not have anything to say about the plot. Ultimately Yumiko with the help of Yuuji and her friends outsmarts her father and her father gets kicked out of the company due to various reasons. Yuuji and Yumiko marries, they have a little girl and they decide to give their daughter a parent’s love which neither Yuuji nor Yumiko had got. Parts I found interesting The romance of Yumiko and Yuuji was the best part of this route. The best part of the route is when Yuuji took Yumiko to the amusement park during their chase. Yumiko’s gradual warming up to Yuuji was intersting. Not everyday do we come to see a kuudere letting a person invade her personal world and showing her dere side. Yuuji and Yumiko’s story started with an attempted slap and ended “as they lived happily ever after”. Final Impressions Grisaia no Kajitsu is a must read for all vn lovers. Overall the novel is awesome. If you have not read this vn I would recommend to read this. The plot line, characters and graphics leaves a lingering impression. A fine masterpiece within all other visual novels. Now I am waiting for Meikyuu and Eden for translation. Grisaia no Kajitsu is a masterpiece and I am glad that I have read it. Is Fruit of Grisaia good visual novel?This is without a doubt my favorite visual novel I've read to date. It's a must-read and I strongly recommend playing through all the routes to get the full experience. Is Grisaia no Kajitsu any good?It's pretty good. It abridges each route into shortened versions. Obviously you don't get everything because it squeezes hours of visual novel into a single anime episode, but all in all, the series is good. To think the anime version of Grisaia is good, your watched list must consist of some pretty bad anime.
