Is IVF risky can IVF hurt?

Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is a rare complication of IVF. It happens in women who are very sensitive to the fertility medicine taken to increase egg production. Too many eggs develop in the ovaries, which become very large and painful.

Is it painful to have a baby through IVF?

Embryo Transfer Through a vaginal catheter, a syringe inserts the embryo directly into the uterus. This is a very gentle procedure and utmost care is taken to keep our patients as comfortable and relaxed as possible during this time and so there is no pain associated embryo transfer.
