What is the difference between 2022 and 2023 Genesis GV70?

Question, I have looked to see what the 2023 GV70 will look like and see if there are any changes. The only thing that comes up is the electric GV70. So are they only making the 2022 GV70 as gas? Has anyone found anything else?

According to my salesperson, no changes between MY 2022 and 2023 other than a difference chip manufacturer. I asked about different options or color combinations being available and was told there would be nothing new other than the EV.

In USA, I am unable to place order, they said they are not taking orders for GV70. Any idea when they will allow?

I reached out to two different dealerships here in MN and was told not accepting orders for GV70's at both.

I would call another dealer and ask. I was able to place an order 2.5 weeks ago without any issues here in the USA. I even asked about the potential of not being able to order and I was told they were unaware of anything happening like that in the USA.

I am in TN, called couple of dealers and they both said we are not placing orders anymore. May I know which state you are in?

I wish they would add wireless apple carplay and android auto (they have it in the hyundai models)

I contacted 4 dealers in Arizona. All had the same answer - Genesis is not accepting orders at this time and they do not know when orders for the 2023 will open up.

I called the Genesis concierge line this week and was told the same as many others in this thread - that currently they are not taking any new custom orders for GV70s due to chip shortages, they don’t know when orders will reopen and they wouldn’t say when 2023 models would begin production. Dealers will continue to receive a “regular” allocation of cars, so if you call around you might get lucky in finding the trim and color combination you want.

Ordered a 2022 Dec 18 and got called today telling me my order had been canceled and I’m getting a 2023 and the wait will not change from the 2-6 months I was told! I’m in NYC! Brunswick Green

I'm waiting on a dealer allocation (placed late December 2021) and just got my delivery date pushed back to late March. My dealer said there's no VIN because it hasn't even been built yet, which is totally different than "your car is here, we're just waiting for drivers to ship it to the dealership".

If anyone heard anything.. please post to the forum. I ordered in mid-Jan, currently scheduled for a built date of May for 2023.. it will probably be June-July before I get the car.
