Các câu so sánh hay

Câu so sánh là một trong những ngữ pháp trọng tâm trong các bài thi tiếng Anh. Và dạng bài viết lại câu so sánh là dạng bài tập khó, cần các bạn chăm chỉ luyện tập và trau dồi kiến thức. Vì vậy, bài viết dưới đây sẽ giúp bạn nắm rõ kiến thức, hiểu và làm được dạng bài này. Hãy cùng hoàn thành dạng bài tập dưới đây nhé!

Lý thuyết câu so sánh

Cấu trúc câu so sánh bằng:

Khẳng định (Positive): S + V + as + adj/adv + as + Noun/pronoun

Phủ định (negative): S + V + not + so/as + adj/adv + as + Noun/pronoun

Ngoài ra, ta có thể sử dụng cấu trúc: S + V + the same + noun + as + noun/pronoun.

Chú ý: Trong một số câu ta có thể chuyển từ cấu trúc as … as sang the same … as và ngược lại.

Ví dụ: Her house is as big as my house (Nhà cô ấy to giống nhà tôi)

Chuyển thành: Her house is the same size as my house (nhà cô ấy có kích cỡ bằng nhà tôi)

Cấu trúc câu so sánh hơn:

Short Adj/Adv: S + V + Adj/Adv + er + than + Noun/Pronoun

Long Adj/Adv: S + V + more + Adj/Adv + than + Noun/Pronoun

Cấu trúc câu so sánh nhất:

Short Adj/Adv: S + V + the + Adj/Adv + est + Noun/Pronoun

Long Adj/Adv: S + V + the most + Adj/Adv + Noun/Pronoun

Chú ý: Trong một số trường hợp ta có thể chuyển từ câu so sánh hơn sang câu so sánh nhất

Ví dụ: This film is more interesting than that one (Bộ phim này thú vị hơn bộ phim đó)

Chuyển thành: the film is most interesting. (Bộ phim này là thú vị nhất)

Bài tập 1: Viết lại các câu sau bắt đầu bằng từ cho trước sao cho nghĩa không thay đổi

1. Hoa is the most beautiful person in my class.

1. I’ve never had better water than this one. Dịch: Đây là nước uống tốt nhất tôi từng uống Tôi chưa từng uống nước ngon hơn nước này. Chuyển câu từ so sánh nhất sang so sánh hơn.
2. Lan’s hair is the same length as my hair. Dịch: Tóc Lan dài bằng tóc tôi Tóc Lan có độ dài bằng tóc tôi. Chuyển cấu trúc as … as … sang the same … as …
3. Hoa is more beautiful than everyone in my class. Dịch: Hoa là người xinh nhất lớp tôi Hoa đẹp hơn mọi người trong lớp tôi. Chuyển đổi từ câu so sánh nhất sang so sánh hơn.
4. Is this ruler the biggest you have? Dịch: Bạn có chiếc thước to hơn chiếc này không? Đây có phải chiếc thước to nhất mà bạn có? Chuyển từ câu so sánh hơn sang câu so sánh nhất.
5. The back car is expensive than the white car. Dịch: Xe ô tô trắng rẻ hơn xe ô tô đen Xe ô tô đen đắt hơn xe ô tô trắng. Chuyển đổi giữa hai tính từ trái ngược nhau.
6. My father is the best. Dịch: Không có ai tốt hơn bố tôi Bố tôi là người tốt nhất. Chuyển từ câu so sánh hơn sang câu so sánh nhất.
7. Out of the two sisters, Mai was shorter than me. Dịch: Trong hai chị em, tôi là người cao nhất Trong hai chị em, Mai thấp hơn tôi.

Bài tập 2: Hoàn thành câu bằng dạng so sánh đúng của từ trong ngoặc.

1. My son is (handsome) ………… than him.
2. This hotel is (cheap) …………… among the recent hotels.
3. I prefer this table to the other one. It’s (beautiful) ………….. .
4. Who is (intelligent) ………….. person in your class?
5. He is not (tall) ………… as his brother.

Đáp án

1. More handsome. Có từ “than” dấu hiệu của so sánh hơn. Dịch: con trai tôi cao hơn anh ấy.
2. The cheapest. Câu so sánh nhất. Dịch: Khách sạn này là rẻ nhất trong số các khách sạn gần đây.
3. More beautiful. Dựa vào nghĩa câu phía trước. Dịch: tôi thích cái bàn này hơn cái kia. Nó đẹp hơn.
4. The most intelligent. Câu so sánh nhất, “intelligent” là tính từ dài nên phải thêm “the most” vào trước tính từ. Dịch: Ai là người thông minh nhất lớp bạn?
5. So tall. Vì sau tính từ là từ “as” nên ta chia ở dạng so sánh bằng. Dịch: Anh ấy không cao bằng em trai anh ấy.
