For as long as we can remember, conspiracy theories have predicted horrific things to happen on specific dates.

However, when that day comes, absolutely nothing happens – no zombie apocalypse, no giant tsunami wiping out the world and no meteor hitting the Earth.

With the advent of social media, these plots only got worse as future dates circulated on Twitter and TikTok.

In 2020, everyone was convinced that the world would end on August 27. It never happened, but it definitely caused a panic.

The last date to grab the internet is June 9, 2023, a random Friday that people all over the world seem to be already looking forward to – but why? Read on to find out…

What will happen on June 9, 2023?

June 9, 2023 has taken over the internet this month as social media users claim that they will “run away” on that day.

It’s not really clear what they’re trying to escape. Perhaps this is the mundaneness of everyday life, or the control of the government or the capitalist way of life – your guess is as good as ours.

One person Wrote on Twitter “I can’t wait to escape June 9, 2023” while another He said: “Escape 9 June 2023.”

The weird trend seems to be connected to a weird meme about something called The Wind and The Portrait that doesn’t make any sense at all.

It all sounds like a load of bullshit, but one person Wrote on Twitter: “Picture was misleading by wind, everything will be corrected on June 9, 2023 when we escape.”

I literally don’t understand what this nonsense is

There are a lot of memes about the weird trend on the Russian humor site I’m funny.

Does not make sense!

Dreaming of June 9, 2023 – but why?

This trend is getting more and more bizarre.

Very strange!

Very confused now.

Can someone explain please?

Make it reasonable.

This isn’t the first time a viral history has gone viral

This definitely isn’t the first time a weird date has gone viral on social media, and it won’t be the last.

The first was the plot of August 27, 2020, when everyone thought that the world would end – but that never happened!

Then the same thing happened on September 15, 2021, when a TikTok account called @someone claimed that the internet would shut down. Again, nothing happened.

Can you see a thread here? Netizens always come up with crazy theories about things that are going to happen on certain dates and all this is a load of bullshit.

Natural disaster, zombie apocalypse, apocalypse. You name it, there was a date for it. Have they happened before? number.

The Internet is a very strange place!
