Fans can get their tickets via Ticketmaster. You’ll be entered into a virutal queue before you can buy your tickets - and you should be aware that tickets are selling out fast.

Are there any restrictions for who can buy tickets?

There are a few restrictions that you should be aware of before buying tickets, including:

  • Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older
  • No under 14’s on the pitch
  • No under 2’s permitted in the stadium

Tickets to see Pink's next summer have gone on sale today (October 14), and thousands of fans are queuing. More than 20,000 people are currently queuing in online waiting rooms on Ticketmaster.

Fans are trying to catch a glimpse of Pink's 2023 Summer Carnival Tour, where she will be playing in Bolton on June 7 and 8, before touring across England and headlining at the British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park, London.

General sale started at 10am this Friday on Ticketmaster, but fans were able to join the waiting room at 9:45am, a holding queue that automatically puts fans into the queue as soon as the sale starts. Pink kickstarts her tour with two big shows at the University of Bolton Stadium, which is the closest venue for Manchester fans.

Other venues include Sunderland on June 10 and 11, and Birmingham on June 13. Tickets to see Pink's headline show at the British Summer Time Festival are already on sale and prices start at £95.75 each. This means general sale tickets for her tour dates are expected to be quite pricey too, and in high demand.

This is the punk-pop singer's first show back in the UK since her 2019 Beautiful World Trauma Tour, which fans will remember being full of costume changes, 'So What' renditions and acrobats on stage.

Resale tickets are now available

'Fans' have already started to resell tickets, if you didn't manage to get the tickets you wanted then this is a good option but there are a few things you should keep in mind.

Only buy through Ticketmaster's official resale platform, this fan to fan base regulates the prices of tickets. I've had a quick look at some are becoming available for both Botlton shows. For the June, 8 show there is currently a resale going for seated tickets in section LL1 Row Z at £172.50.

The price is slightly more expensive but fans can be assured that they will receive the tickets, with updated details like name and address. If tickets are bought via unverified platforms (through Twitter or a friend of a friend) you may have trouble getting into the venue.

To buy resale tickets, click on 'buy ticket's' as normal and when the options pop up scroll down to 'Other option's and resale will be highlighted in purple.

Some venues check ID on the night to see if it matches the ticket address, or name - if it doesn't you could be turned away. But honestly speaking it's a gamble, as some fans manage with no problems others have issues.

Hotel's in the area

Concerts and artist events causes hotels in the area to hike their prices, and the same is happening around the dates of Pink's shows in Bolton.

Since the venue is a way out from Manchester many fans will be considering staying the night and making a stay out of the show, so to help we've put together a list of the nearest hotels to the stadium, availability and a look at prices.

Hotels run on the same 'demand based' pricing system at ticket sites, so it's no surprise that prices have gone up. A room at the Britannia Hotel in Bolton costs £194 for the night of June, 7, but compared to a random Wednesday night it is £130 more expensive. A double room on Wednesday May, 3 is just £64.

The University of Bolton Stadium is slightly out of the city centre in Middlebrook, which is a 15 minute drive away.

The closest hotels to the venue:

  • Mercure Bolton Georgian Townhouse
  • Holiday Inn Bolton Centre
  • Britannia Hotel

Plenty of happy fans with tickets

The celebratory tweets are starting to come in left, right and centre, as fans manage to get tickets.

It's always a nervewracking experience trying to get tickets, especially today as more than 20,000 people joined the Bolton Queue. One fan tweeted: "WHOOP! Tickets booked for @Pink next year in Bolton. I CAN'T WAIT!"

Another happy fan was over the moon, and we're aren't surprised as he a lot of preasure to get those tickets:

Golden Circle tickets

Golden Circle tickets are still available to buy for both Bolton shows, but at £162 each you may be wondering what makes these so special.... and expensive?

Golden Circle gives fans access to a secluded standing area at the very front near the main stage and it is arguably the best view in the house. Pink is well-known for putting on a high-energy performance with daning, costume canges and acrobatics, here fans will have front view of it all.

Golden Circle ticket holders have to show their lanyards and wristbands to get entry and there isn't a bar in this area. There's also an ages restriction for this area, with no under 16's allowed due to crowding.

10:31Harriet Morphy-Morris

Low availability

Both Bolton shows are now showing as having 'low availability' of tickets.

According to Ticketmaster there are still tickets left to buy for the June 11 Sunderland show, but fans have to be quick as this is likely to sell out too. After Sunderland, the next best available show is down in London at Pink's headline show.

No more pitch standing tickets

Just 20 minutes after tickets went on sale, and we are already seeing certain ticket types sell out.

There is no more Pitch Standing tickets (£104.50) left to buy. This isn't all bad news for fans though as there is plenty of Golden Circle at £162 available. If you're still waiting to get to the front of the queue then don't waste time looking for general standing tickets as they have sold out.

Looks like there's no pitch standing tickets left for @Pink Bolton's shows, although there is Golden Circle but these are more money, at £162 each.

— GemmaSherlock (@GemmaSherlock2) October 14, 2022

There seems to be a few seated tickets left, we've checked availability and if you want seated then go for section KU2 at checkout. The best ticket availability is higher up in the stands, so fans may have to compromise.

Queue numbers

The queue numbers this morning are quite surprising, and definitely not as busy as previous artist sales.

There's currently 19,000 people in the queue for the Bolton shows, if you were worried about getting tickets today join as early as possible and be flexible with ticket types and dates. This morning will be your best chance at getting tickets for the best rate, as the more in demand tickets get later on, the more expensive they will be.

If you have no luck getting your desired Bolton date, then there is always the Sunderland and Birmingham shows.

    A hint at prices

We won't know until tickets go on sale at 10am today just how much they will cost. Of course there was presale earlier in the week, but with the 'demand based' pricing system tickets are expected to be more expensive today.

Even though we don't have prices to share just yet, there are a few views and ticket options that are known for being pricey.

The high-up seats will be one of the cheapest options, and this can be seen on green on the venue map. The most expensive tickets will be VIP packages, front row standing and front row seats. General pitch standing is normally a reasonable option to go for.

Prices for Pink's headline show at the British Summer Time festival have already been confirmed, and start at £95.75 each.

    Closest show to Manchester

With no show confirmed for Manchester the closest venue on Pink's 2023 Summer Carnival Tour is in Bolton. Performing at the University of Bolton Stadium on Wednesday June 7 and Thursday June 8.

It's a 30 minute drive from Manchester City Centre or a 45 minute train from Manchester Piccadilly. We'll be giving updates throughout the day on the amount of tickets available, queue numbers, ticket prices and the cost of hotels in the area.

Before general sale starts at 10am, in just over an hour's time, here's the layout for the stadium so you can choose your seats before. Knowing which section you want to get tickets for will only quicken up the checkout proccess.

If you have your heart set on a specific spot have a second option in mind just in case they aren't available once you reach the front of the queue. Pink is well known for putting on theatrical performances and does do acrobatics from the ceiling, so you want to make sure your view isn't restricted in any way.
