Suzuki shogun axelo 125 malaysia review

Am looking at upgrading my 1998 Honda EX5 Class, trading it in for something better. Between the two bikes, which one is better? The Suzi will save me about RM470, but the shop guy told me that it is a good bike to own, with no engine problems and less worry about being stolen.

I welcome any feedback from you guys. Thanks.

So, Crosser, you are happy with your Shogun 125? How is the performance and fuel consumption like? Can you share a little please?

I OSO AGREED! hehe I owned Shogun for 1.5 years already. Previously when new i can get 50-53km/L. Now drop already to 43-48km/L which is still good. Service internal was long, according to manual, 4k to change black oil and 8k for oil filter(share the same filter with vs125 which cost rm5 ciplak punya). Wave125 top speed might be faster cause happen few times i was overtaken by wave while i was doing 120km/h

Good thing -BIG U-box -Low fuel consumption -engine feel solid, dun have extra sound -engine from Japan

Problems so far -exhaust a bit rusty -original tyre not so good in the wet, change them asap

Personally i think Suzuki and Honda make good quality bike. You can't go wrong with either of them. U might consider Suzuki Smash Revo, it is cheaper but the engine is not from Japan liao.

Hello PC Tay,

Why do you think that the EX5 Class is a good bike, and that I should not trade it in with another? Personally, I find the engine a little underpowered and the bike rattles like mad. But it is very reliable though.

What is special about Suzuki Shogun?

TVS Suzuki Shogun was one of the earliest bikes that were brought to India for everyday commute. It was powered by 108.2 cc, single cylinder 2-stroke engine that was good for 14 BHP at 8500 rpm and 11.4 Nm at 8250 rpm. The engine was mated to a 4-speed gearbox and helped the Shogun reach a top speed of 105 kmph.

What is the top speed of Suzuki Shogun 5 speed?

MAXABOUT RATING AND OVERVIEW The engine was mated to a 4-speed gearbox and helped the Shogun reach a top speed of 105 kmph. The performance is actually comparable to current generation 135 cc bikes while its low weight of just 114 kg made it even comparable to 150 cc motorcycles of present time.
