CosRX Oil-Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion was actually created with drier, sensitive users in mind. But wait there’s more! It was also created for anyone that uses acne medication or exfoliates often with chemical exfoliating products. It also happens to supply moisture to all skin types without making you greasy or shiny nor does it add excess oil to your skin.

In the past year, I’ve been through three bottles of this stuff. It’s by go to daily moisturizer! The ingredients are super simple, the texture is a lightweight creamy gel, it absorbs super fast, and it applies a good deal of moisture without leaving behind a greasy, oily film nor does it create unnecessary shine or excess oil throughout the day.

CosRX created it with 70% Birch Sap which actually acts as an astringent so if you’re prone to acne it could potentially keep breakouts at bay. I’m not the exact demographic for this moisturizer but it still works out beautifully for me as a daily staple.

It does have a bit of a stronger scent which is natural due to the birch sap! Kind of reminds me of a minty herbal witch hazel-like fragrance. This disappears quickly after application. Sadly it does contain Lemon Peel Oil which is really low on the ingredients list but worth mentioning for those that avoid such essential oils in their skincare as they are sensitizing.

If you need something lightweight to wear under makeup that’s quite hydrating this little guy is for you. It’s a perfect Summer moisturizer. Not to mention if you have drier, sensitive skin or you’re prone to breakouts this is also an excellent pick up!
