Another very good Greman driver to look out for, is the RFT/Schulze KSP 215K. Did a comparison the other day with the Saba Permadyne 25 , the KSP 215 was much superior in the lower midrange . Btw there was also just a recent thread on the RFT drivers do take a look. 
I haven't actually ever seen any Telefunken drivers -- all the ones passing as such were actually isophons. I am at a disadvantage being a half a world away from where they were made... the tweeters Stixx showed a picture of are Isophons. dave
@BTW: I have an older version of the RFT KSP 215 with fieldcoil magnet and spiders made from pertinax in a bakelite basket, I hope it sounds as good as it looks...... I haven't actually ever seen any Telefunken drivers -- all the ones passing as such were actually isophons There were also Telefunkens that looked like Sabas, same basket and very similar cone (black). Some Telefunkens were using cast baskets that I've never seen on other models...... Maybe those days there was some kind of "resource sharing"............how do they call that nowadays in business speak....synergy???

While we are on the subject of German fullranges can anyone ID this driver. It has a red Dortmund DEW -- labeled ceramic magnet, a gorgeous ellipsoidal whizzer with a woven gold cloth dustcap. On the back of the cone is what i 1st thot was a J, but now think is a capital gamma in a circle. I've also had a set of 8" that look the same. dave
