Detailed Reviews: Reviews order informed by descriptiveness of user-identified themes such as cleanliness, atmosphere, general tips and location information. chiangmaicharlies Chiang Mai, Thailand5,615 contributions A gaudy monstrosity overlooking Sapa Supposedly built by the Chinese, for Chinese tourists.A real out-of-character building in the centre of town, next to Quang Truong Square and across from the Stone Church. It is not yet completed but will hold tourist stores and a supermarket. Some of those are already there and selling tourist 'tat'.It serves one purpose for the discriminating tourist - it houses the funicular railway station to start your ascent up Mount Fansipan. Other than that, best left alone. This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is the station to take the train to the cable car station and has some souvenir shops all selling the same stuff. I guess it is up to personal taste, but that monstrosity should have never been built right smack in Sapa. This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Patrick D Warsaw, Poland5,237 contributions Probably the most beautiful building in Sapa that includes Sun World shopping mall, Sapa Station and the only 5 stars hotel in Sapa : Hotel de la Coupole - MGallery by SofitelRight in the center of town, next to the stone church, zooming across the square, you will see a brand-new building named Sun Plaza Sapa . The building with French architectural style standing right in the middle of the intersection,. With classic golden colors and large glass windowsit has brought an extremely artistic and eye-catching work in the center of town.Entering inside Sun Plaza Sapa , you will be more surprised when you see a large and strange space with architectural style and décor quite simple but extremely attractive. On the ground floor , It's Sapa Station . where you can buy tickets to go to Fansipan Legend or to climb Muong Hoa by train. The station is an extended hallway with dim, mysterious lights, very beautiful ..On the 1st floor , Sun World is a commercial center just put into operation not long ago, though not yet completed , attracting tourists and also a new virtual living place for young people. Quelques magasins interesssants ..The left side of the building is a perfect beauty with natural light, the corridor is luxurious You will go from one surprise to another when you step inside this interesting building.
