I haven't tried many Swisse products but have always thought of the brand as trusted and reputable. So I decided to give this eye cream a go having spottied it on special and being in need of one at the time. Show
The packaging is very light, natural & authentic looking, with a matte look & feel. The cream is very thick and pastel yellow in color. It's super smooth to apply and absorbs really quickly, which gets a big thumbs up from me. It has no scent as for as I can tell. My under eye area is almost instantly, and very significantly brightened/lightened upon applying this eye cream. Dark circles under the eyes are not often a concern for me, but I imagine that this stuff would be an amazing product for those who have that issue. More a concern for me in regards to eyes are; fine lines, deepish smile lines, and puffiness. Having been using this eye cream every day for 3-4 weeks, I feel that it's reasonably effective in addressing my issues, and is most effective in brightening the under eye area. I find this eye cream really pleasant to use, effective, and reasonably priced. I would particularly recommend this product to those who suffer the panda eye. Great product. I’ve tried so many products at such a higher price range that do absolutely nothing. I always apply this cream in the morning and I see the difference in literally seconds. I recommend it to family and friends as it’s just amazing. It helps with both my puffiness and dark circles. For the price you can’t beat this product. It hydrated my under eyes without feeling heavy. I don’t have terrible big dark circles, but yes they are there and I do find putting this on brightens everything up. I find this to be a lovely cream to use however I didn't notice any difference in preventing fine lines and or darkness. I use the bottle up and whilst it felt moisturizing my main focus was to reduce some of the darkness under my eyes. I have used products that have had similar consistency and have had a better effect. It think this is good for a person who doesn't have a problem yet and wants something hydrate but if you have issues that you wish to fix maybe something with different ingredients might work better. It doesn't contain a lot of anti-aging ingredients, but the texture is really light and spreads beautifully. Ingredients include goodies like grapeseed oil, squalane, argan oil, caffeine, Q10. It does have some essential oils in it but the fragrance is minimal, and I experienced no irritation. It keeps my eye area hydrated without being sticky or heavy. Overall, it is a nice eye cream at a very affordable price. For those without any aging concerns, this is fine on its own. For me, I usually layer this over my anti-eye serums. I squeeze the amount of a grain of rice onto my ring finger as that finger applies less pressure to the delicate eye area then gently apply that to my under eye area. It hydrates really well but I haven't noticed any other change to my skin. If your just looking for something to hydrate your eye area I would recommend this but if your looking to improve fine lines or wrinkles I wouldn't recommend this to you. I love the Swiss’s range and this revitalising eye cream does not disappoint. It comes at a great price and I have used much more expensive eye creams that deliver the same result. It’s light and non greasy to wear and I don’t need to apply a lot for great results. I suffer from fine lines around my eyes and this honestly diminishes their appearance beautifully.
